Here at The Shed, we are proud to have a variety of food choices and can now introduce new Buddha & Bao. In Japanese cuisine, a poke bowl is often referred to as a "poke don" (ポケ丼), blending the Hawaiian concept of poke with the Japanese style of serving it over sushi rice, creating a fusion of Hawaiian and Japanese flavors. Just choose your choice of proteins and salads to create your poke bowl at Buddha & Bao. Originating in China, bao buns have a rich history dating back thousands of years. These soft, fluffy steamed buns were traditionally filled with savoury ingredients like pork or vegetables. Over time, they spread throughout Asia, gaining popularity in various cuisines, including Taiwanese and Japanese, as a beloved street food staple.
