Please find answers to some of our market FAQs
1 – How much is a market pitch?
Pitches are charged at a flat rate of £20, with gazebos and power an additional £10 each, if required.
2 – Are there any discounts for stall holders?
We do occasionally offer discounts and other incentives, such as buy 2 pitches, get the 3rd free.
3 – Why did we stop Wednesday markets?
Unfortunately due to lack of footfall on a Wednesday we had to make the decision to pause mid week markets. Regular stall holders were offered the opportunity to stay, and encouraged to remain regulars at our Saturday markets.
4 – Why do we charge for market pitches?
We need to charge a nominal amount to cover costs of staff, security, publicity etc, but try to remain competitive with surrounding market fees.
5 – Do stall holders have to pay for parking?
No, all market traders get free parking, as long as they send their car registration in advance.
6 – How are we planning to increase market footfall?
We have a dedicated Market Manager working hard to get the Saturday markets up and running, focussing on building relationships with stall holders to encourage retention and development.
