Celebrating Community Month at The Shed

There’s something special about a space that brings people together—and this month at The Shed, that spirit is taking centre stage. We’re celebrating Community Month, a time dedicated to connection, creativity, and shared experiences. Whether you’re looking to unwind, meet new people, or bring the family along for something fun, we’ve curated a series of pop-up events designed to make everyone feel at home.

For those who enjoy a social vibe, our Wine & Walk gathering on the 9th May, combine gentle movement with good conversation and a glass of something lovely. It’s about getting outside, connecting with others, and enjoying simple pleasures together.

Live Music & Creative Energy

No community celebration would be complete without music. Our live performances throughout the month will bring a vibrant atmosphere to The Shed, showcasing talented local artists and creating the perfect backdrop for relaxed evenings with friends and neighbours.

We’re also making sure our younger visitors feel part of the celebration. Our kids’ crafts session on the 27th May and free music and magic show on the 28th, are designed to spark imagination and give children a chance to create, play, and connect in a fun, hands-on way.

Exciting News from Sainsbury’s

We’re also pleased to share that Sainsbury’s will be joining us during Community Month. They’ll be sharing information to connect with the community and will soon be announcing more information around Nectar rewards as well as upcoming employment opportunities. It’s a great chance to learn more, ask questions, and explore what’s ahead.

A Space for Everyone

Community Month is about more than just events—it’s about creating moments. It’s about seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and feeling part of something bigger. Whether you drop in for a quick visit or spend time grabbing food from one of great vendors, there’s always something happening at The Shed.

We can’t wait to welcome you. For more information on all the events, please visit the website.

Come for the experience, stay for the community.
