By showcasing the skills our local businesses can offer and giving young adults the chance to get hands-on and try some new skills, we are hoping to cement the town as a great place to live, work and develop. With over 400 attendees at our last careers fayre, we are hoping this one will be even more popular.
On the 26th of February we are holding our very first skills workshop. With a variety of skills available to try out from first aid, VR, fire and rescue services and silversmithing. We want to encourage young adults in our community to remain in the area to develop their careers.
Businesses attending TIO Group (first aid), Untold Gaming (VR), Brandstorm (logo design), Hampshire Fire and Rescue service, Abigail J Marsch (silversmith) and AB PT.
Whitehill and Bordon Leisure Centre will be offering a Lifeguard taster session in the pool, please bring swim wear for this. Sign up for this during the skills workshop on the Parade Square, directly with the Leisure Centre. Spaces are limited.
