The countdown to the Summer Social festival is on! Celebrate summer in style with a great family day out.

Music

Live music performances from local bands, tribute artists, and a fantastic band who have been selling out concerts for years with their awesome talent and true festival atmosphere tunes. We also have an acoustic stage showcasing local talent in a chilled area of the park.

Food and Drink

A diverse selection of food vendors offering delicious and diverse dishes. From kebabs to burgers, sushi to pizza, bubble waffles and ice cream there will music to keep your toes tapping and dishes to keep your taste buds tingling. There might also be a beer and gin tent!

Stalls

As well as some amazing local trades, we have a flower bar dedicated to producing fairy flower crowns, glitter tattoos and more.

Activities

Local theatre Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre are bringing a whole town to the event…Tune Town! This purpose-built area has everything your little music makers need to learn about producing their own music. With fantastic equipment and games, there’s no shortage of fun to add to the festival atmosphere.

Plus roaming street acts, henna tattoos and a colourful, fun experience for everyone!

Community spirit

We are all about community and showcasing local talent. Most of the acts are from right on our doorstep, and we can’t wait for everyone to see their talent and get the park rockin’.

Workshops

What could be better than a variety of amazing acts, food, drink and fun? How about circus skills workshops throughout the day? Learn some new skills or watch those who know showcase theirs.

No struggling to see at the back, plenty of seating, food from around the world and more glitter than you can shake a glow stick at! The Summer Social might be small… but it sure will pack a punch!
