The Shed Turns 1!

The Shed to celebrate its First Birthday on Saturday 28 May 2022 from 12.00 to 10.00pm!

The Shed is to celebrate a remarkable first year with an all-day event encompassing the Town Park and the Town Square with something for everyone to enjoy.

Twelve months ago, The Shed opened to the public with a launch that received massive support from local people. This has continued throughout the year as the eclectic mix of local food & drink and specialist operators, together with arts and crafts businesses and outdoor markets has grown. To mark the anniversary and to thank everyone who has visited and supported The Shed in the last year we are having an all-day party to which everyone is invited.

There will be live music throughout the day and into the night; children’s entertainment and rides, as well as a chance pick-up some real circus skills, or just enjoy the delights of the petting farm. Spiderman and Frozen’s Elsa will make guest appearances and the traditional Punch and Judy show will enthral the kids. The heritage and life of the town will be on show with a real army tank and a fire engine from the Bordon Fire Station and the Woolmer Forest Heritage Society will provide a fascinating look at the town’s history.

A special Saturday market will be running and all The Shed’s traders will have their full range of tasty locally made food, range of drinks and local produce and crafts on offer with some specials just for the day on the menu and slushies and cocktails to toast the first year.
